GIANNINI- About the Artisans
Founded in 1993 by Marino and Piera Giannini, Giannini Garden Ornaments began with handcrafted hanging wall fountains, planters, and small garden ornaments. Today, the family-run business operates from a 2.5-acre factory and showroom in South San Francisco, California, producing up to 900 cast-stone pieces daily, including fountains, planters, pedestals, benches, and statues.
Each piece starts as a detailed sketch by Marino, taking two to three months to transform into a final product. The process involves hand-sculpting, mold-making, and casting using a blend of high-quality cement, aggregates, water, steel, synthetic fibers, and strength-enhancing additives. After curing, every piece is finished by hand in one of 20 signature colors.
Now joined by their sons, Pier Luigi and Alessandro, the Giannini family continues to craft timeless, high-quality pieces, keeping their artistic legacy alive in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area.
